Topical: European Migration:
The Migrant Refugee wave begins to abate. Muslims are firmly embedded in many western nations. People are fleeing constant bombardment in Syria and Iraq.
In Syria, since the Russian backing, President Assad’s forces are taking back the land. However, at what cost! Half a million people have died, half the population has been uprooted, and it is the world’s largest refugee crisis, with many migrants being unaccompanied children! Now most of Syria is broken into fiefdoms ruled by rebels and warlords. It is suspected that Assad has been using Sarin toxic gas as a weapon against rebels and civilians, which has caused an American response.
The EU pledged 1 billion euros for refugees in the Middle East itself, which is perhaps where the emphasis should be. Human suffering is universal. However, Europe is struggling to cope with the refugee crisis. Whilst some nations have been open to receiving large numbers of refugees, some countries are not so welcoming for various reasons. Even those who were more welcoming are beginning to pull back at the constant stream of migrants...either running from death and war, or in economic desperation.
Greece and Italy had registration hotspots to sift new arrivals and deport economic migrants. Many initially acted with compassion for these desperate people, especially for the children. There was a sifting out of jihadists etc. Note that the possibility of increased Islamatisation rides on the back of this migrant wave. European nations received €6000 from the EU for each refugee taken in.
Pray for Heads of governments as they think through the issues involved ....they need wisdom. The various Asylum and Immigration services, and groups and individuals seeking to help refugees also need to plan how best to meet needs. Some organisations plan for schooling, English lessons, and occupational therapy as well as the practical provision made. Finally, governments also need to consider the opinions and concerns of taxpayers and citizens of hosting countries over the effect of such an intake of refugees, bringing in all their ways. There needs to be balance. The pendulum has turned recently against migrant intakes in Europe, though Italy is still a favourite destination for African migrants leaving the continent through Libya. Many of them die on the sea crossing or become victims of human trafficking.
The words below are taken from a publication of 'Prophecy Today'.
It may be in the purposes of God to bring large numbers of Muslim migrants into Europe in these days in order for them to be released from the spiritual darkness of Islam. The migrants coming from Syria have a greater openness to integration and therefore real opportunities for Christians to share their faith. Christians in Europe have the opportunity to show the difference between the god whom Mohammed served and the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ by loving our enemies and praying for them. Mohammed insisted on forced conversions at the point of the sword and beheaded those who refused, as is also the case with ISIS.
1968 Prophecy by 90 Year Old Woman in Norway. An old woman of 90 from Valdres in Norway had a vision from God in 1968 which she described. It was well documented and verified at the time. One part of it referred to what we would term immigration, although this was not known in 1968.
“People from poor countries will stream to Europe. They will also come to Scandinavia - and Norway. There will be so many of them that people will begin to dislike them and become hard with them. They will be treated like the Jews before the Second World War. Then the full measure of our sins will have been reached." I will not see it, but you will. Then suddenly, Jesus will come and the Third World War breaks out. It will be a short war." "All that I have seen of war before is only child's play compared to this one, and it will be ended with a nuclear atom bomb. The air will be so polluted that one cannot draw one's breath. It will cover several continents, America, Japan, Australia and the wealthy nations. The water will be ruined (contaminated?). We can no longer till the soil. The result will be that only a remnant will remain. The remnant in the wealthy countries will try to flee to the poor countries, but they will be as hard on us as we were on them." "I am so glad that I will not see it, but when the time draws near, you must take courage and tell this. I have received it from God, and nothing of it goes against what the Bible tells." "The one who has his sin forgiven and has Jesus as Saviour and Lord, is safe."
I hope this material is thought provoking. A further bit of research may prove interesting, as follows.
